PLEASE READ AT HOME WITH YOUR CHILD

Please be sure that your child fills in his/her reading circle every night! Then you sign for it to be returned on Monday. Otherwise, they are losing break time to make up homework. We are working hard on improving our reading fluency. Reading every night at home can make a big difference!! Please encourage your child to read as much as possible.

FIELD TRIP - MAY 14

FIELD TRIP: Our field trip to the Oregon Zoo will be on Thursday, May 12th. The cost will be $3.00 per student. We will be able to take 4 chaperones. Chaperones will also need to pay $3.00 to cover their admission cost. The first four people who volunteer will be selected. I'm sorry that we only have room for four parents. Additional parents are welcome to meet us at the zoo, but they would be responsible for covering their own parking and standard admission costs (roughly $10).

So far, Mrs. Doughtery and Mrs. Hagwall have volunteered.

Mrs. Evans will also chaperone but meet us there. She has a pass so that means I still have two paid chaperones open.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to go with us. It will be FUN!!

Donation Request

We have run out of liquid hand sanitizer. We would love it if a family or two would be willing to donate a pump-style bottle of hand sanitizer to our classroom. Thank you!

We are also in need of good colored pencils.

Also, we are out of snacks again.
